Dear Artist,

 

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

 

1. Framed pictures must be ready to hang with D rings and wire/string already attached.  Unframed pictures should be mounted and wrapped in plastic for the browser.       

                

2. Maximum of 10 entries for members and 5 entries for non-members.

3. One label to be affixed to the back of each picture stating IN BLOCK CAPITALS

4. Hanging Fees:

Framed work/canvases          - £2 each (members)                     £3 each (non-members)

 Unframed mounted work   -   £1 each (members)                     £2 each (non-members)

Hanging fees are due by  1 May 2024 and should be paid online to:

•    Please put your name as a reference. 

•    Hanging is not guaranteed without payment by the due date.

 

 

5. Commission of 15% of the sale price will be deducted for each item sold at the exhibition. Net sale proceeds will be paid online to the artist within 10 working days.

 

6.  Every care will be taken with submitted works of art but HCAS cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage.  Artists may, of course, arrange for their own insurance.

 

7.  An entry form is attached to this invitation.  It must be completed by the artist and the top half emailed to houghtonconquestartsociety@outlook.com  or handed to John Broadhouse at a Club Meeting, by Wednesday 1st May 2024 to facilitate preparation of a catalogue.

 

HANDING IN

 

Between 6.30 and 7.30pm on Saturday 11th May 2024 at Houghton Conquest Village Hall.

 

COLLECTION

 

Unsold works must be collected at 4.00 pm on Sunday 12th May 2024.
