HCAS Calendar for 2025

If you would like to have your painting in next years HCAS calendar please email  me, broadhousejohn@hotmail.com to let me know as I will need 13 paintings (including cover) to be able to start the project, please reply by 22nd March 2024 & add the painting location, if you know it, to avoid duplication

Paintings can be in any medium, bright and colourful on an A4 landscape size sheet (so I can put it in my scanner), please save a dark or light area at the bottom of the painting so I can overlay your name and painting location.

The theme is “Bedfordshire Waterways”, this can include river scenes with boats, a building , bridge, lock or weir, examples are Great Barford, Bedford Embankment, Bromham Mill, Danish Camp, Priory Marina, Harrold, Odell, River Flit at Flitwick Moor & Mill, Bromham Mill, also ponds, lakes & canals, examples, Leighton Buzzard with its narrow boats and canal side pubs, Woburn Abbey ponds with the abbey in the distance, Stewartby Lake, Stockgrove Park lake, Harrold Country Park lake, Jordans Mill,  these are just a few suggestions, there are lots more in Bedfordshire. 

Paintings need to be completed between now and the end of June and handed to John Broadhouse (or a committee member) at one of our meetings, your paintings will be returned when they have been scanned.

The professionally printed calendar will be A4 size opening to A3, ring bound, and sell to members for £5.
